Sunday

Basically the cutest dog in the whole world:

Dining room:

My husband's grandmother's vases:

Thanksgiving flowers:

Who can't get enough of these ears?

Wine glasses:

Since I've been doing a bit better emotionally, I've been losing some weight again. You can't tell, of course, but I can and I feel good about it. Also, how do we feel about the straightened hair? Also, do we think my facial structure can support several more inches of hair? Like six more inches? Do people do that? Is that weird? Maybe it's a bad idea. I feel like if I'm going long, I should go long. Not be wishy washy about it.

Monk really wanted a dog cookie. Reeeeally bad. It is why he is posing so prettily.

I painted some birds on the kitchen cabinets.

Dog cookies.

Cab is a food snatcher, and we've been working on that. This is what pure agony looks like:

This is what pure lazy bitchiness looks like:

The four days went fast,
black sheeped

Edit: Nilbog IS goblin spelled backwards, correct! But you all obviously need to go watch Troll 2 right now. Right. Now. And laugh at the awfulness. You will love how bad it is. Looooove it.

Ohh, great photos. I like your hair straight, but it's really cute curly. That's probably because my hair is stick straight and blah.

I love the paintings on the cabinets. What a great idea. Please, come here and paint for me! PLEASE!

I am a fan of the straight hair. I love curly hair (my hair is bone straight and stubbornly refuses to curl), but I like it straight here.
Also, LOVE the birds!

Those birds are so KEWL!

And you do have the cutest dogs in the world. :)

I noticed the straight hair in your avatar and did a double take. It's really attractive. Grow it as long as you like. Aura can tell you that I had really long hair not that long ago, and then had it cut. Now it's growing again.

The kitchen cabinets are terrific! And the photos of grandma's house and glassware beautiful.

And yes, even a cat person like me can agree with Aura that you have cute dogs. Really cute dogs!

First of all, you do not look like you need to lose any weight, so if in fact you do, what kind of magic skinny camera do you have? I would like to go purchase one immediately.

Secondly, your hair looks good. I don't know what yours does when it gets much longer than that, but mine (and my oldest daughter's) gets all stringy at the bottom. The beauty is, though, you can try it, and if you don't like it or it goes all stringy on you, cut it back off.

I like the straight hair, though of course I also love curly hair. And I think your face can take long hair, but hey, if it can't, you can always cut it off as soon as it starts looking bad.

I love your curly hair because I have fine, bone-straight hair, but I have to say you are rocking the straight look! I think you could definitely go longer before you start reminding people of Crystal Gayle.

Love the dog photos! Cab's ears are the BEST.

I have really long straight hair. I love it. I think it looks great on you, too. Monk is adorable.

I also love the birds. If we didn't have brand new cabinets, I would totally do something like that...but not as good as yours. Did you use a stencil or freehand?

Also, do you know of any particular type of medium that would work better in a bathroom? I have a large blank spot above our jacuzzi tub that is begging to have something hung on the wall.

I think the straight hair makes you look older, as in more responsible or something, not as in "geez, you look like you're ready for AARP". I have awful straight hair that won't do a thing, so I'm partial to beautiful curly hair like yours.

Love the cabinets! & look at your boys being so good waiting for their cookies!!

You look purdy either way, but I like the curly hair because it's just glorious!

Also, love the cabinets and the pups!

I like the straight hair....and also the birds. Did you paint them freehand or with a stencil? I want to do some embellishing in my kitchen as well.

You take those photos with a regular digital camera and not an expensive behemoth camera? WOW! Love your hair straight, and I can see the weightloss in your face :o)

I can't believe you just....painted birds. I'm so impressed by artistic people.

I can just FEEL how soft-floppy those dog ears are.
