Finale

8:30 a.m.

Last night, the horror that once was one of my all-time favorite shows ended. Even though I've grown to hate hate hate it, I still sobbed like a little bitch when they showed Luke sewing together all those tents. Other than that, it was pretty much the most anti-climactic ending of a show ever. Oh, Gilmore Girls.

Thank goodness you're finally dead.

SHUT UP, RORY.

Love,
black sheeped

I've seen the first 6 seasons on DVD, and I have been nervous. I keep hearing that season 7 is, basically, limping along without the show's creator, who left after season 6. But of course I HAVE to watch season 7, I can't just stop with season 6. Can I?

I remember watching a DVD extra where Lauren Graham said that Amy-the-Creator told her (Lauren) that she knew how the whole show was going to unfold, down to the very last spoken line of the last episode, and that that made Lauren feel as if she were in very good hands. That's how I felt, too--until Amy-the-Creator left. Now I feel almost as if season 7 doesn't count, or isn't part of the series.

I haven't watched any of the last few seasons, but your shirt made me laugh out loud. Gilmore Girls is one of my husband's least-favorite shows of all time, so I want to BUY him that shirt for Father's Day, perhaps in a more masculine color.
